1. Agreement to terms

Welcome to the Community Resilience to Foreign Interference website (the 'Site'), a website hosted and operated by the Ministry for Ethnic Communities and the Department of Internal Affairs ('we', 'our', 'us', ‘MEC’, 'DIA'). These terms apply to the entire contents of the Site as well as to any web feeds produced by or displayed on the Site. By viewing and using the Site, you will be deemed to agree to these terms.

2. Copyright and licence for re-use

Copyright material on this site is protected by copyright owned by DIA or its licensors. Unless indicated otherwise for specific items or collections of content (either below or within specific items or collections), this copyright material is licensed for re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 New Zealand licence. In essence, you are free to copy, distribute and adapt the material, as long as you attribute it to the Ministry for Ethnic Communities or the Department of Internal Affairs (as applicable), and abide by the other licence terms (see the plain English licence terms at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).

Please note that this licence does not apply to:

  • any logos, emblems and trademarks on the Site;
  • the Site’s design elements, photography, imagery or video content.

These specific items may not be re-used unless there is an express licence accompanying and expressly referring to them.

3. Additional licensing rights

If the licensing provisions above do not cater for your needs and you would like to speak to someone about obtaining a broader licence to re-use content on the Site, please contact info@ethniccommunities.govt.nz.

4. No liability

We disclaim and exclude all liability for any claim, loss, demand or damages of any kind whatsoever (including for negligence) arising out of or in connection with the use of either this Site or the information, content or materials included on this Site or on any website to which it is linked.

5. Links

The inclusion of links to third party sites does not imply any endorsement of the linked website or its content or provider.

6. Revisions to terms

We may revise these Terms of use at any time. Any such revisions will take effect once notified through a post or other announcement on the site detailing the respect(s) in which the Terms have changed.
